At Odessa Sunrise Dental for Kids, we’re here to make dental care a positive, educational, and even fun experience. We believe in creating an inviting, judgment-free space for families—where kids feel safe, and parents feel informed and supported. Our mission is to partner with families to prevent dental disease through education, compassion, and high-quality care.
Get to Know Your Dentist
Dr. Brenda Manzanares
Dr. Brenda Manzanares has dreamed of being a dentist for as long as she can remember. Raised in Bluffton, South Carolina, she completed her bachelor’s degree in Biology in just three years and entered dental school at the age of 20. In 2021, she graduated with her DMD at just 24 years old and has been focused on caring for children ever since.
Driven by her passion for working with young patients, Dr. Manzanares spent 2.5 years practicing in Texas, where she was able to connect with families through her bilingual skills in Spanish and English. After relocating to Florida in 2024 to be closer to family, she took the leap to build something of her own, Odessa Sunrise Dental for Kids, a practice built on compassion, prevention, and empowering families.
As a general dentist for kids, Dr. Manzanares is committed to practicing within her scope while offering age-appropriate care in an environment that truly puts children first. Her favorite part of the job? Helping anxious kids leave with a smile. Using gentle techniques and clear communication, she helps children become confident dental patients without fear or trauma.
Dr. Manzanares is especially passionate about education. She believes that parents should not only know what treatment is being recommended but also why and how to prevent future issues. With every visit, she focuses on building trust and equipping families with the tools they need for long-term oral health success.
Outside the office, you’ll find her enjoying Florida’s beaches, exploring Tampa’s food scene, or spending time with her dogs at local parks.

We start each visit with friendly introductions and gentle explanations so everyone, parents and kids, know what to expect. No pressure, no worries, just compassionate care tailored to your child’s needs.

Our welcoming, child-friendly environment helps little ones feel at ease, while our honest, education-first approach keeps parents in the loop and confident about their child’s care.

We’ve designed every inch of our practice with families in mind. From amenities that make your child smile to comforts that help you relax.
TVs on the ceiling
To keep kids entertained and distracted during treatment, we’ve added TVs right on the ceiling. Whether your child prefers cartoons or nature shows, screen time becomes a calming tool to help them stay relaxed and focused on something fun.
Interactive waiting area
Our carefully curated waiting space is built to help kids feel playful and welcome right from the start. From interactive play elements to a cheerful picture backdrop for post-visit photos, it’s a space kids actually enjoy spending time in.
Giving back matters to us
Building partnerships that support local families
We’re just getting started, but we believe in being part of the Odessa community in a meaningful way. As we grow, we hope to partner with local schools, pediatric offices, OB/GYNs, and specialists to support families and spread oral health education.
